How long is the documentary?

OBSERVER run time is 94 minutes.

What is the intended audience for the film?

OBSERVER is recommended for ages 13+.

Is there a rain plan?

In the event of light rain, we will still adventure outside with our observation kits after the screening. In the event of severe weather, members are welcome to take their kits home to complete the activity at a different time.

What should I wear?

Please dress accordingly for the weather. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes as we will be walking Mirror Lake after the screening.

Is there an alternative observation activity for folks with mobility restrictions?

There is plenty to see in the Garden from more accessible, paved paths. We will have volunteers on hand to assist guests in navigating to closer areas for observation activities upon request.

How many kits are available?

We have 50 post-screening observation kits available. They will be distributed one to each party upon check-in to the event on a first-come, first-served basis.

Are members able to keep the observation kits after the activity is complete?

Yes! Members are welcome to keep their observation kits to enjoy again.

What should we do with all the observations, photos, etc. we took during the activity?

Submit them! We would love to see how you interpret the Garden, and the filmmakers would love to see too! You can submit your photos and more here and share them on social media by tagging @Norfolkbotanicalgarden and @wickeddelicate.
