Butterfly Festival
June 14 | 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
In partnership with the Butterfly Society of Virginia, Join us for the Butterfly Festival at Norfolk Botanical Garden. This event will be held in the Bristow Butterfly Garden from 10AM -4PM. Attendees can enjoy activities, learn all about butterflies and walk through our Summer Butterfly House.
Every Brilliant Thing
June 23 | 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
This powerful story is told from the perspective of a single performer. An immersive storytelling experience performed in the round that blends comedy, improv, and audience interaction to tell the story of someone growing up in the shadow of their mother’s struggle with suicidal depression while learning to grapple with their own journey. Every Brilliant Thing provides a life-affirming jolt of humanism, reminding us that hope comes from the miracles of life’s minutiae.
Honey Bee Festival
August 15 | 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
In partnership with Beekeepers Guild of Southeast Virginia, Join Norfolk Botanical Garden for our Honeybee Festival. This event will take place at our Baker Hall Visitor Center from 10AM – 4PM. Attendees can enjoy local vendors, learn all about Honeybees and see our active onsite hives.
