The beauty, wonder & serenity of Norfolk Botanical Garden combine to create a perfect setting in which to honor a loved one or pay tribute to a special friend.

Planned gifts help ensure the long-term financial sustainability of Norfolk Botanical Garden and may provide tax benefits you as a donor.

For a gift of $1,000 – $5,000* you can sponsor a Leaf in perpetuity.

In recognition of your gift, we will engrave your chosen Leaf with an inscription depending on what leaf you chose. Your generous support will enable Norfolk Botanical Garden to continue our vital community engagement with environmental education and plant conservation.

Beginning in 1997, friends of the Garden could support our mission by purchasing engraved bricks for installation in multiple locations (Baker Hall Entryway, Education Walkway, Eagle Plaza and the Children’s Garden). The last available spaces have been sold and the program officially ended in 2023.

We are making every effort to preserve them, If you need help locating a brick or paver in the Garden, stop by Baker Hall Visitor Center. We will need the name of the donor, the individual(s) honored, or the inscription text to help locate your item.

WOW Children’s Garden plaques provide an opportunity for donors to recognize a friend or family member in one of the most visited areas of our Garden.
