NBG Homeschool Field Day!

Join NBG Youth Educators to complete fun and educational guided and self-guided activities to celebrate the end of the school year! Each child participant will be provided an activity kit with all needed materials to complete the activities. Recommended for children ages 5+ with significant chaperone participation. Moderate walking required. Homeschool is rain or shine.

Participants must pre-register tickets for their check-in time. Walk-Up ticket purchases will not be available. The first guided activities will begin at 10:30AM, with the last guided activities will begin at 2:30PM. Norfolk Botanical Garden is open until 7PM. The WOW Children’s Garden is open until 6:30PM.

Cost

Price for NBG Members: $10/child for ages 3-17*, Free for NBG Member adults. *Children 2 and under do not require a ticket; however, if they wish to receive the program materials, a ticket must be purchased. 

Price for Not-yet Members: $18/child for ages 3-17* and $16/adult. Children ages 3-17 and all adults require a purchased ticket. *Children 2 and under do not require a ticket; however, if they wish to receive the program materials, a ticket must be purchased. Not-yet-member rates include Garden admission.

NBG members and not-yet-members are required to register at least one child ticket in order to participate in Homeschool Day discounts. Only participating children receive the learning kit. All participating children and attending adults/chaperones must have a registered ticket. Adults who intend to participate in the program are required to register a child’s ticket.
