Free Partner Program: River of Hope

Nature Education Program

Date/Time
Saturday, September 11
10:00 am - 11:00 am

Join us in the WOW Children’s Garden to meet local storyteller and environmental educator Robin Dunbar! Families will hear an original tale about a boy who ventures to the river with a pelican looking for treasure noted on a map he found floating in a bottle. Together they’ll learn how the river has changed over time, and what they can do to help to find a solution to the pollution. Geo-art activity follows utilizing maps.
