With over 300 individual plants, our Viburnum collection represents about half of the known species. Depending on the variety, Viburnums can either evergreen or deciduous, and are known for their fragrance, showy flowers, or handsome fruit (sometimes on the same plant!). The best places to see Viburnums in the Garden are along the Airport Berm and in the Flowering Arboretum. However, if you are here in late April, be sure not to miss the two large Chinese snowball viburnums (Viburnum macrocephalum) blooming along the Border Walk.
