September Membership Swap

• Virginia Zoo and Nauticus members will enjoy free general admission at Norfolk Botanical Garden (NBG) for up to six individuals (ages 3+), depending on membership level. Individual members will enjoy free general admission for one person. Tickets must be reserved online in advance using the calendar below and the promo code provided in your member email. This benefit excludes special events, educational programs, and other NBG special member-access tickets.
  • Tickets are only valid for the specific date and arrival time noted on the reservation.
  • Tickets can be scanned directly from your smartphone or from a printed copy.
  • Upon arrival at NBG, Virginia Zoo and Nauticus members must present reserved tickets and a valid Virginia Zoo or Nauticus membership card at the Tollbooth.
• Virginia Zoo and Nauticus members will also receive a 10% discount in the Garden Gift Shop. This benefit excludes special events, educational programs, and other NBG special member-access tickets.
• Virginia Zoo and Nauticus members that purchase a membership during the month of September will receive 1 extra month on their NBG membership! Virginia Zoo and Nauticus members should present their membership card at the Front Desk to receive this special offer.

Membership Swap Policy: Benefits from multiple partner memberships, including admission, discounts, and membership extensions, cannot be stacked or combined. Guests must present one active membership per visit and/or transaction to receive eligible discounts or admission.

• NBG members will enjoy free general admission for up to six individuals at the Virginia Zoo and Nauticus. The discount is not valid for special events and education programs.
  • Visiting Nauticus: Secure your tickets online ahead of time using this link and promo code provided in the Membership Swap email sent out on 08/19. Select which date you would like to attend by clicking “Other dates…” and viewing the calendar. When you arrive for your visit at Nauticus, present your ticket barcode, active NBG membership card, and valid ID at Admissions.
    • Free general admission does not include special events, guided battleship tours, educational programs or workshops, and other special member-access tickets. Free member swap tickets must be reserved online in advance; otherwise, regular admission ticket costs will be charged upon entry. Limited free member swap admission tickets available each day — if tickets aren’t available online, we hope you can visit Nauticus another day!
    • Access to discounted Toddler Time tickets. Adult tickets are free! Simply reserve your toddler’s ticket and use the promo code in the Membership Swap email sent on 08/19 for free adult tickets. Toddler Time is offered from 9:30-10:30 am on September 24 and 27.
    • Enjoy $3 off adult tickets to any of the Victory Rover or American Rover cruises, plus the Naval Station Norfolk Bus Tours! Simply call Victory Rover Naval Base Cruises to reserve your discounted tickets as part of our swap, and present your valid membership card upon arrival to check in.
  • Visiting the Virginia Zoo: No reservation needed — just present your NBG membership card and a photo ID at the gate.
• NBG members will receive a 10% discount on purchases in the gift shop and food service locations, if applicable.
• NBG members that purchase a Virginia Zoo or Nauticus membership during the month of September can take advantage of 1 extra month – free!

Visit all 3 locations for a chance to win an amazing prize! Here’s how to enter:

• Visit each location during September
• Upon arrival at each location, scan the QR code at the admissions point/Front Desk and fill out the quick survey
• Complete and submit the survey at each location by 5pm on September 30th

Limit 1 entry per membership, regardless of holding multiple memberships across participating organizations. If multiple individuals are listed under a single membership, only one entry is permitted for that membership. Individuals with memberships at more than one participating organization may still submit only one entry.
