Ferns are one of the oldest group of plants on earth, and there are many different species found all over the world.
Where to Find Them: There are many species native to Virginia that can be seen around the Garden, but are especially concentrated in our Fern Glade. Other species of hardy ferns can be seen throughout the Garden, and tropical ferns can be found in our Tropical Display House, as well as in our summer annual displays.
