Norfolk Botanical Garden has approximately 3000 plants in the genus Rosa representing 380 different species and cultivars. The collection features primarily hybrid tea roses and floribunda types. In an effort to showcase a wider variety rose types, the Garden has recently acquired many roses classified as “Old Garden Roses” featuring different species and older hybrids.

Where to Find Them: The majority of the collection can be found in the Margaret Moore Hall Bicentennial Rose Garden. A small, but significant group is found at the Hunter Savage Colonial Garden.
