Norfolk Botanical Garden offers a variety of rental spaces in a beautifully serene setting. An oasis in the heart of the city, the Garden is a encompasses 175 breathtaking acres and more than 17,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space suitable for a variety of corporate and social events. The Garden is the perfect venue for proms and galas, reunions or retreats, corporate luncheons, re-enlistment ceremonies, memorial services, bar mitzvahs, quinceañera celebrations and holiday parties. Our Venues

Holly Room

Adjacent to Baker Hall, the Holly Room is perfect for small meetings, luncheons, and event overflow. With floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Sensory Garden, your guests will want to take a break from business as usual and explore the herbs and perennials that will beg to be smelled and touched. Rental includes: pull down screen and podium, 5” round or 6” rectangular tables, 40 chairs, parking & admission for all guests.

Capacity: 40 seated, 50 standing, 60 lecture
Rental Time: 9AM-4PM or 5PM-12AM

Garden Auditorium

The newly renovated, state of the art Garden Auditorium is perfect for meetings and conferences by day or as an elegant event space at night. Rental includes: flat screen monitor and pull down screen, podium, 5’ round or 6’ rectangular tables, 100 chairs, parking & admission for all guests.

Capacity: 80 seated, 100 lecture
Rental Time: 9AM-4PM or 5PM-12AM

Rose Garden Hall & Gazebos

Rose Garden Hall offers floor to ceiling windows and spectacular sweeping views of our award winning Margaret Moore Hall Rose Garden. Ideal for large events and galas, this traditional banquet hall will accommodate up to 200 guests.  Enjoy canapés and cocktails in the Gazebos or grand foyer and a night of dinner and dancing in the ballroom. Rental includes: dedicated catering kitchen, portable bar, 2 pull down screens, podium, microphone, coat rack, 5” round or 6” rectangular tables, chairs, parking & admission for all guests.

Capacity: 200 seated/tables, 300 standing/chairs
Rental Time: 2PM-12AM

NATO Vista

With wide open spaces and large grass lawns with convenient access to the Visitor’s Center and parking area, NATO Vista is the ideal location for company picnics, family reunions or large scale tented events. Rental includes parking and admission for up to 100 guests.

Rental Time: 9AM-12AM

Other Outdoor Spaces

Other outdoor garden sites are also available for private rentals including military reenlistment ceremonies, baby and bridal showers, memorials, corporate and family events. Tents, tables and chairs for outdoor events must be rented through one of our Exclusive Event Rental Partners.

Holiday Extravaganza

Holiday Host a lavish holiday party in both of our spacious indoor venues simultaneously. Rose Garden Hall, our traditional ballroom with floor to ceiling windows and sweeping views of our light display and award winning Bicentennial Rose Garden, can be transformed into a winter wonderland by our amazing assortment of preferred event vendors. Baker Hall, with its vaulted ceiling and magnificent exposed beams, comes completely decorated for a traditional holiday celebration. The Holiday Extravaganza Package Includes: Rose Garden Hall , Lobby and Gazebos, Baker Hall, Lobby and Terrace, tram tours through the Dominion Garden of Lights display, 2 projector screens, coat racks, a podium with microphone in Rose Garden Hall, tables, chairs, parking and admission.
