Virginia Zoo Members Visiting NBG
- Virginia Zoo Members will enjoy free general admission for up to six individuals (ages 3+), depending on membership level. Individual members will enjoy free general admission for one person. Tickets must be reserved online, in advance using the calendar below. This promotion is not valid for special events.
- Tickets are only valid for the specific date and arrival time noted on the reservation.
- Tickets can be scanned directly from your smartphone or from a printed copy.
- Upon arrival, Virginia Zoo Members must present reserved tickets and a valid Virginia Zoo membership card at the Tollbooth.
- Virginia Zoo Members will also receive a 10% discount in the Garden Gift Shop.
- Virginia Zoo Members that purchase a Norfolk Botanical Garden membership during the month of March will receive 1 extra month on their NBG membership! Virginia Zoo Members should present their membership card at the Front Desk to receive this special offer.
- Virginia Zoo Members receive the NBG Member rate on Youth Education classes taking place during March. To book, please call our Youth Education team at 757-441-5830 ext. 463.
NBG Members Visiting the Virginia Zoo
- Norfolk Botanical Garden Members receive complimentary walk-up general admission for the number of individuals covered under their membership. Not valid for special events and education programs.
- Note: On Sunday March 29, the Virginia Zoo will host its Sensory Friendly Morning. On March 29, the Zoo will open to the public for general admission at 12:30pm. Norfolk Botanical Garden Members may begin using the membership swap benefits for free admission once the Zoo opens to the public at 12:30pm.
- Norfolk Botanical Garden Members receive a 10% discount on purchases in the gift shop and food purchases at the African Village Restaurant.
- It’s a great time for Norfolk Botanical Garden Members to become Virginia Zoo members! Norfolk Botanical Garden Members that purchase a Virginia Zoo membership in March will receive two additional months on their Virginia Zoo membership, plus access to March Member Madness, featuring exclusive discounts for Virginia Zoo Members.
Please present a valid physical or digital NBG membership card and a photo ID at the Virginia Zoo to receive these benefits. The name on the NBG membership card must match the name on the photo ID. If you cannot locate your NBG membership card, please give our Membership Team a call at 757-441-5830 ext. 334.
