Southeastern Virginia with its zone 8 climate is different from the rest of the state, allowing you the opportunity to enjoy your garden 12 months of the year. This talk will explore some of the plants that will give your garden interest through the winter when many people wrongfully assume the gardening season is over. There are many plants that will provide colorful flowers and fruit, as well as interesting structure and form. A few design tips for the winter landscape will also be provided.
