ODU Writers in Community Partner Program – Nature Haiku Workshop

To celebrate National Poetry Month, join us in the CAMELLIA CLASSROOM in the Baker Hall Visitor Center for a haiku writing workshop in partnership with the ODU Writers in Community! This program is included with Garden admission and recommended for children ages 5+. ALL guests who want to attend are required to register their timed ticket for Sunday, April 30. Once you arrive at the CAMELLIA CLASSROOM for check-in, you will receive a wristband for either the 10AM, 10:30AM, 11AM, or 11:30AM session. Each session is limited to 15 children. It is highly recommended guests register for the 9AM-11AM timed tickets to ensure they will receive a wristband for one of the session times.
Ticket Registration Information
This program requires pre-registration and is included with Garden admission. Guests must register their NBG timed admission tickets for Garden entry.
After arriving at the Garden, park in the main parking lot, and check-in at Holly Room in the Baker Hall Visitor Center. Guests should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to check-in and get settled in the for program. There are only 15 wristbands per time slot, so it is recommended you arrive early to get a spot!
