Homeschool Garden Science: Yeast 101

Join us for our March Homeschool Garden Science Series! Each week we will investigate different ways to experience the Garden through sensory activities, experiments, and STEM-based projects.

In this class we will conduct experiments and make our own dough with Yeast. Recommended for children ages 7-11 with some chaperone assistance. All attending adults and children are required to have a registered ticket. As an exclusive, NBG Members can sign up for all sessions in the series for a discounted rate!

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:

• All participating children must have a paid, pre-registered ticket to attend the program.
• All attending adults must have a registered ticket, including all free Member adult tickets.
• Dressing for the weather and wearing comfortable walk shoes are encouraged.
• Tickets must be pre-registered. Walk-up tickets the day of the class will not be available.
• Program tickets include Garden admission.
• Due to the elevated content of Homeschool Garden Science, chaperones are asked to not register children under age 7 to attend the program. Pre-K aged children (ages 4-6) are recommended to participate in the Jr Master Gardeners program on Saturday mornings.

Price for NBG Members: $12/Child. (Adult members may attend for free with a registered child).

Price for Not-yet Members: $20/Child and $16/Adult. (Tickets for class must be purchased for both children and adults and includes daytime admission to NBG).

All child class participants ages 3+ must have a registered ticket. Children ages 2 and under who are attending to participate in the class must have a registered ticket.
