Make Your Child’s Birthday Unforgettable

Celebrate your child’s birthday at the WOW Children’s Garden! Parties are popular and book months in advance. Email youthed@nbgs.org to secure your date. Include: your name, contact information, child’s name/age, expected guest count, and preferred dates/times.

Pricing Information

  • $300 – NBG Members
  • $400 – Not-Yet-Members
  • Additional rental time: $50 for 30 extra minutes.
  • Additional guests: $100 for up to 10 more guests (35 total guests).
  • All rentals incur a 3% surcharge for credit card transactions.

Your Party Includes:

  • WOW Classroom Rental.

    • 1-hour classroom rental in the WOW Children’s Garden.
    • Includes extra time for set-up and clean-up.

  • Decorations & Set-Up.

    • Garden-themed tablecloths and centerpieces.
    • Paper plates, cups, and napkins.

  • Admission for up to 25 Guests.

    • Garden admission applies to guests ages 2 and older.
    • Additional guests (up to 35 total) can be added for $100.
    • Hosts and guests are welcome and encouraged to enjoy the Garden after the rental!

Rental Start Times: 10 AM or 2PM.

Need More Time?: Add 30 minutes to your rental for $50.

A Very Hungry Caterpillar

Very Hungry Caterpillar-themed story time and craft.

  • $5/child.
  • Complimentary for bookings October 2025 – March 2026.

Fairy Garden Activity

Make-and-take miniature fairy garden craft.

  •  Pricing: $10/child.

Deluxe Garden Dinosaur Party

Dinosaur terrarium craft and/or goodie bags.

  • Pricing: $15/child for the full package.
    • $10/child for dinosaur terrarium only.
    • $5/child for dinosaur goodie bags only.

Plant & Pollinator Pals

Walking tour to learn about pollinators and seed planting activity.

  • May-September Only.
  • Pricing: $5/child.

Deluxe Butterfly House Party

Walking tour of the Butterfly House.

  • June-September Only.
  • Package Pricing: $350 Members/$450 Non-Members.
    • Includes 30-minutes to rental time for walking tour.
    • Additional $5/child for a planting activity.

WHAT CAN/CAN’T I BRING?

Permitted:

  • Food (not requiring heating or cooling). Dining and serving utensils.
  • Bluetooth or small speakers for music.
  • Cooler for ice, drinks, and leftovers.

Not Permitted:

  • Outside entertainment (ex: performers).
  • Balloons, piñatas, or helium tanks.
  • Public refrigeration or food/cake deliveries.
  • Alcoholic beverages or smoking.

Reminders:

  • Staff will not handle food preparation, serve food, or assist with food-related tasks.
  • The WOW Splash Fountains are subject to the availability of weather, maintenance, or other reasons that may require they be turned off at any given point and are not explicitly included in our rental packages.
