One of the easiest, most colorful, and most satisfying perennials to grow are daylilies (Hemerocallis). Norfolk Botanical Garden has over 200 different varieties, with the greatest concentration in the Sarah Lee Baker Perennial Garden. While they begin blooming in May, and continue through the summer, the peak bloom is usually around Father’s Day Weekend.
