Join us Saturday, July 20th from 10AM to 4PM for our annual Butterfly Festival, hosted by the Butterfly Society of Virginia. Immerse yourself in a fluttering paradise at our educational booths, where you can learn all about these delicate creatures and their fascinating lifecycle. Young explorers can embark on a journey with our kid’s passport. When hunger strikes, indulge in a variety of delicious treats from our food trucks. Due to the weather, we will be hosting this festival throughout our main building Baker Hall Visitor and Rose Garden Hall.

During high visitation periods, such as spring break, when our azaleas are in full bloom, and festival days, we strongly encourage reserving your ticket in advance online. This guarantees your entry at your designated arrival time. With limited parking due to The Garden of Tomorrow construction, securing your ticket in advance ensures a smoother overall experience for you. Remember, as an NBG member, you can visit any time on any date, as long as parking is available on campus. Thank you for your support!

Norfolk Botanical Garden’s mission is to immerse visitors in a world of beauty, lead through environmental action, and inspire through education and connection to nature.
