Intro to Crochet (3-Week Class)

In this 3 class crochet series, students will learn core skills while crafting multiple projects.

Class 1: slip knots, chaining, single crochet, binding off, etc. Project options – Fingerless Mittens, or e-Reader/Tablet/Book pouch

Class 2: half double crochet, finishing, seaming, fiber notes, etc. Project options – Scarf, Cowl, or Mini Tote

Class 3: double crochet, slip stitches, adding yarn, increases, working in the round, etc. Project options – Beanie Hat or Reusable Bottle Sling

Note: There is assigned homework that requires time outside of class to complete. If you are not able to commit to attending all 3 classes and an additional 1-2 hours of practice time between classes for homework, the standalone crochet class may be a better fit. This class is designed for beginners with no prior experience, all supplies are included.

This is a 3-week class that meets on Thursdays, January 8-January 22 from 6-8 PM.
