Adult Education

Our adult education programs offer a diverse range of opportunities for both personal enjoyment and professional growth.

Whether you’re interested in botanical arts, horticulture, gardening, cooking, nature and birding, photography, or garden design, we have classes and workshops to suit your interests.

The Garden also hosts year-round wellness and fitness activities, including yoga, t’ai chi, and more, all designed to enhance your well-being. Adult Program Refund Policy

All programs will be held rain or shine unless notified otherwise.

  • Cancellations 5 or more business days prior to the program start date: refund, less 20% processing fee (minimum $5).
  • Cancellations 1-4 business days prior to the program start date: No Refund.
  • Programs canceled by the garden due to low enrollment or inclement weather conditions will be refunded in full.  In the case of cancellations due to inclement weather, every attempt will be made to contact all pre-registered participants by phone or email.

Program Pricing

Program pricing includes Garden admission. If you are signed up for a class you are not required to reserve a timed-entry-ticket. Please let tollbooth know which class you are attending.

Reservations

Adult Education Programs are intended for an adult audience. The minimum age requirement to register for an Adult Education Program is sixteen. Children under the age of sixteen may occasionally be permitted to register along with a registered adult with prior authorization from the Adult Education Manager and program instructor. For inquiries regarding age requirements for specific Adult Education Programs, please contact the Adult Education Manager at 441-5830 x338 or registrar@nbgs.org

Member Discount Policies

Members with an individual membership receive a discount on 1 ticket per class. Members with a family membership receive a discount on up to 2 tickets per class for adult classes.

Earn 1 CEU per class hour on adult education programs. Please inform our registrar prior to the end of class and CEU certificate will be provided.
