We would love to set up an engaging information booth to help spread the word about all of the exciting things happening at NBG! NBG is excited to offer students the opportunity to apply for a self-guided research pass, providing access to our expansive 175-acre campus for class projects and independent research in both the sciences and the arts. Home to over 60 gardens, including 6 primary collections and numerous natural areas, NBG is a rich resource brimming with inspiration and information. Each garden offers a unique environment for learning and discovery. Best of all, self-guided research passes are available at no cost to students. Submit an application to be considered.
Norfolk Botanical Garden is dedicated to connecting people with nature, both in the Garden and within the community. Occasionally we offer plants for donation to support organizations with garden projects that have a significant community impact. We’re also happy to offer guidance and, when possible, hands-on assistance to help make your project a success. If your organization is seeking donated plants, starting a garden, or looking to revitalize an existing one, please submit a request. Is your nonprofit organization hosting an event with a raffle or auction? Norfolk Botanical Garden is happy to support fundraisers that benefit local organizations dedicated to improving our community. Please follow the link to fill out the Donation Request form and learn more about eligibility requirements. Please submit requests at least 45 days before the event date. While we will carefully consider each application, we are not able to fulfill every request.
