Individual Volunteer Requirements

  • Have a functional email address
  • Submit an online volunteer application form
  • Must attend a volunteer orientation
  • Successfully complete a background check (provided by NBG)
  • Be at least 18 years old (exceptions may be made for the Teen Summer Volunteer Program, Butterfly House Docent Program, and Dominion Energy Garden of Lights show)
