This summer, Norfolk Botanical Garden will transform the Enchanted Forest into an interactive game land filled with outdoor larger-than-life games like Chess, Horseshoes, Connect Four, Yard Pong and More! Plus, say cheese! Frame-up and snap a photo with one of the many outdoor frames and share with the world #framesandgames. Connect with nature, reconnect with family and friends, boost your gaming & teamwork skills, and definitely have fun!

Look for educational signage that will accompany themed frames with eco-friendly messaging, part of the Garden’s environmental action mission. Additional coordinating programming through adult education and youth & family programs will compliment this summer event. Combining outdoor activities, community engagement and connecting with nature – Frames & Games is sure to be a big hit with NBG visitors. Not only will visitors have fun framing-up and gaming, the Garden has 175 acres to explore – the WOW children’s Garden, Butterfly House and garden, nature trails and more than 65+ gardens to discover. There is something for everyone.

All of the frames used for Frames & Games were donated or are obtained from a local 2nd hand store. We are all about upcycling!
