Get ready to have a seed-sational time at our Fall Seed Collecting Workshop with a special focus on native plants! This hands-on class is perfect for gardeners, horticulture enthusiasts, and anyone interested in propagation or ecology. Participants will explore the garden and participate in seed collecting, processing, and storing demonstrations. Gain valuable knowledge on harvesting seeds from various plants and take home some seeds to experiment with.  Students will learn:

Techniques for identifying mature seeds

Methods for cleaning, drying, and storing seeds

Tips for labeling and organizing your seed collection for future use

Recommendations: Long sleeves, long pants, and bug spray are recommended—some walking is required.
