Pamunkey Tribe: Tribal History

In a special lecture for the Norfolk Botanical Garden, Shaleigh Howells (Cultural Resource Director and Museum Director for the Pamunkey Indian Tribe) will be discussing the history of the Pamunkey Indian Tribe in Virginia, as well as her work managing cultural resources for the Tribe and the Pamunkey Indian Museum & Cultural Center. She will also speak about contemporary issues Native Americans face today and ways to support indigenous communities.
