Tween homeschool students are invited to learn about wetland habitats and water ecology in our new Homeschool on the Water program. Program recommended for ages 9-14 with an adult chaperone.

Cruise Lake Whitehurst and learn about the different instruments used to study fresh water ecology.

Due to the limited capacity of the Garden tour boats, ALL children and adults riding the boat must have registered tickets. Tag-alongs are not permitted without additionally registered adult/child tickets.

Cost

Price for NBG Members: $10/child/class & $25/child/series. One adult member may attend for free with a registered child ticket. Each additional adult will have to pay the $10 child member rate. All adult NBG members must have a registered ticket to attend.

Price for Not-yet Members: $15/person. Tickets for class must be purchased for both children and adults, and includes daytime admission to the Garden.

All program attendants riding the boat must have a registered ticket. If sibling tag-alongs must attend the program, they must have a registered child ticket.

Hourly Tram Tours depart Baker Hall Visitor Center beginning at 10 AM until 4 PM.
