Earth Day-Crochet

Earth Day-Crochet

with Instructor Mandie Burns

Date/Time
Tuesday, April 16
5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Reduce, Reuse, & Recycle are the traditional hallmarks of Earth Day.  This class explores another important R – REPURPOSE.  Students will learn to use 2 non-traditional materials for crochet projects in this session.  Together we can repurpose textiles and plastics that would otherwise head to landfills into useful materials.  This class is designed for beginners with some prior crochet experience.  Crochet 102 is a prerequisite for this class – or, students must be able to independently perform all the listed 102 skills(Changing colors, Slip Stitches, Double Crochet, Fiber notes, Reading labels, etc.).  Most supplies included, students are invited to bring clean, unwanted t-shirts and dry, plastic grocery bags from home to contribute to the group materials supply.

Cost
