ODU Writers in Community Partner Program – Fall Creative Writing

To celebrate National Day of Writing in October, join us in the WOW Children’s Garden for a fall-themed creative writing workshop in partnership with the ODU Writers in Community! This program is included with Garden admission and recommended for children ages 5+. ALL guests who want to attend are required to register their timed ticket for Sunday, October 29. Once you arrive at the WOW Children’s Garden for check-in, you will receive a wristband for either the 10AM, 10:30AM, 11AM, or 11:30AM session. Each session is limited to 15 children. It is highly recommended guests register for the 9AM-11AM timed tickets to ensure they will receive a wristband for one of the session times. 

Ticket Registration Information

After arriving at the Garden, park in the main parking lot, and walk to the WOW Children’s Garden to check-in for the program. Guests should plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time to check-in and get settled in the for program. There are only 15 wristbands per time slot, so it is recommended you arrive early to get a spot!
