SUMMARY:Exploring Nature in Watercolor & Gouache (4-Week Class)
DESCRIPTION:Taking inspiration from the pioneering entomologist\, naturalist\, and scientific illustrator Maria Sibylla Merian\, students will provide photos of their own choosing to design and paint a scientific illustration exploring the relationships between local plants and insects. Materials are provided\, but students are encouraged to bring a sketchbook and their own supplies.
