Capturing the Light in Flowers Watercolor (4-Week Class)

Capturing the Light in Flowers Watercolor (4-Week Class)

With Instructor Rowena Finn

Date/Time
Tuesday, November 01
9:30 am - 11:30 am

This weekly class is ideal for both beginning and experienced watercolorists. Students will draw and paint botanicals with special emphasis on mastering value and capturing the light that glows on top of and through petals and leaves. Preserving the luminosity of the paper’s whiteness through transparent layers of watercolor is essential to breathing life into the composition. Participants are encouraged to bring in photos of a flower or plant they would like to paint. They should email the instructor ahead of time if they need help choosing a photo. Supplies are provided but students may bring their own in if they wish.

This is a 4-week class held on Tuesdays, November 1-November 22 from 9:30-11:30 AM.
