Botanical Drawing (3-Week Class)

This class teaches keen observation and recording what and how we see. Two class sessions will be held inside with natural objects set before each student to practice sight techniques for increased accuracy. The third session will be a nature journaling session we will take outside to draw from the Japanese garden. Other topics will include, line weight, using pen over pencil, and seeing and controlling lights and darks in our drawings to create a 3 dimensional appearance.

This is a 3-week class that meets on Tuesdays, October 8, 15, 22 from 9:30 AM-12:30 PM.
