The Butterfly House is not scheduled to open due to the current social distancing recommendations.

Our enclosed Butterfly House is a guest favorite that attracts crowds throughout the season.  Currently, the house is not scheduled to open due to  COVID-19 social distancing recommendations. For the same reason, our Butterfly and Honeybee Festivals have been cancelled this summer.  The safety of our guests, staff and volunteers is our top priority.
We will continue to monitor the situation and update this page accordingly.

In the meantime, there are still lots of beautiful native butterflies to see in the 2.5 acre Butterfly Garden that surrounds the Butterfly House!  With this garden full of nectar and host plants, there will be plenty of opportunities to watch butterflies in action. Look for educational opportunities and pop-up outdoor experiences related to butterflies and other pollinators throughout the summer.  Don’t forget to check out the butterfly maze located toward the back of the Butterfly Garden.

We look forward to reopening the Butterfly House as soon as it’s safe to do so. It’s an awesome immersive experience for young and old alike that is not to be missed!
