Bicentennial Rose Garden

With the most beautiful blooms in May and October, and equally stunning throughout their season, the Rose Garden is the definition of romance.  For no more than 240 guests, a wedding under the trellis with the roses in full bloom is what getting married at Norfolk Botanical Garden is all about.

This 3.5-acre garden was dedicated in 1976 as a tribute to the nation’s bicentennial. This Garden, an All America Rose Selection (AARS) Public Display Garden, contains 3,000 rose bushes, making it one of the largest collections on the East Coast.
