Perennial GardenNorfolk Botanical Garden offers a variety of rental spaces in a beautifully serene setting. An oasis in the heart of the city, the Garden is a encompasses 175 breathtaking acres and more than 17,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space suitable for a variety of corporate and social events. The Garden is the perfect venue for proms and galas, reunions or retreats, corporate luncheons, re-enlistment ceremonies, memorial services, bar mitzvahs, quinceañera celebrations and holiday parties. Holly Room

Adjacent to Baker Hall, the Holly Room is perfect for small meetings, luncheons, and event overflow. With floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Sensory Garden, your guests will want to take a break from business as usual and explore the herbs and perennials that will beg to be smelled and touched. Garden Café & Terrace

Operated by our exclusive caterer, Marigold & Honey, the Garden Café is the ideal setting for intimate parties and small corporate events. Nestled between our Japanese Garden and Tropical Display House, with charming mid-century modern details and an elegant outdoor terrace, the Café offers private event guests a serene garden experience. With its vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and covered terrace overlooking the Perennial Garden and bubbling fountain, Baker Hall lends an air of elegance to any event. Rose Garden Hall & Gazebos

Rose Garden Hall offers floor to ceiling windows and spectacular sweeping views of our award winning Bicentennial Rose Garden. Ideal for large events and galas, this traditional banquet hall will accommodate up to 200 guests.  Enjoy canapés and cocktails in the Gazebos or grand foyer and a night of dinner and dancing in the ballroom. Rental includes: dedicated catering kitchen, portable bar, 2 pull down screens, podium, microphone, coat rack, 5” round or 6” rectangular tables, chairs, parking & admission for all guests.

Mayor’s Row or NATO Vista

With wide open spaces and large grass lawns with convenient access to the Visitor’s Center and parking area, Mayor’s Row and NATO Vista are ideal locations for company picnics, family reunions or large scale tented events. Rental includes parking and admission for up to 100 guests.

Holiday Extravaganza

Holiday Host a lavish holiday party in both of our spacious indoor venues simultaneously. Rose Garden Hall, our traditional ballroom with floor to ceiling windows and sweeping views of our light display and award winning Bicentennial Rose Garden, can be transformed into a winter wonderland by our amazing assortment of preferred event vendors. Baker Hall, with its vaulted ceiling and magnificent exposed beams, comes completely decorated for a traditional holiday celebration. The Holiday Extravaganza Package Includes: Rose Garden Hall , Lobby and Gazebos, Baker Hall, Lobby and Terrace, tram tours through the Dominion Garden of Lights display, 2 projector screens, coat racks, a podium with microphone in Rose Garden Hall, tables, chairs, parking and admission for guests.

Rental Guidelines

Norfolk Botanical Garden works with an exclusive list of caterers and event rental companies.
Clients and/or caterers are responsible for event set up, break down, and cleaning.
Venue access for clients, guests, and event vendors begins at specified rental time.
Contract and deposit required for booking.
 All prices subject to change. Taxes, catering and outside vendor fees not included.
