WPA Garden Heritage Celebration

Join us for the sixth annual Garden Heritage Celebration. This year’s celebration will feature Rev. Linda Clark, granddaughter of a WPA worker, as the keynote speaker.The WPA Memorial in the spring The event also includes God’s Trombones, Azalea tram tours and MC Benita Adams.This event began in 2009 with the unveiling of the commemorative sculpture Breaking Ground and dedication of the WPA Memorial Garden. The memorial honors and celebrates the contributions of the 220 African American workers whose labor created the Garden.Complimentary admission to the Garden between 10 and 11 a.m. Regular Garden admission applies before and after.
