Owls and Leaves: Focus will be on drawing and painting Screech Owls or Great Horned Owls, both of which can be found at NBG, as well as autumn leaves to accent the beauty of the owls. Each student will learn wet in wet, perfect for feathers and leaves, and will leave with a finished painting! All supplies included.
Renowned watercolor artist Diana Davis showcases the beauty of nature through her artwork, finding inspiration in the color and light of life that surround her on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Diana is an award winning artist and art instructor with more than 30 years of experience. Her original pieces featuring flowers, butterflies, birds, landscapes and vintage Eastern Shore scenes can be found in galleries across the state and in private collections in the US, Canada and Europe. Her passion for watercolor is evident in her work and instructional workshops, in which she incorporates traditional watercolor methods as well as a few unique techniques that make her pieces spring to life.
