Learn how to fold decorative paper into lovely gift boxes. No previous paper-folding experience required.
Fold and assemble squares of colorful papers to create lidded boxes that are the perfect containers for packages of seeds or other small gifts on any occasion. We’ll start with a simple two piece square box with a lotus blossom topper and then mix and match papers to create more ornate boxes with contrasting flower or star designs in the lids. Insert some thicker paper for stiffening and brush on an acrylic sealer and you’ll have long lasting containers for small treasures on your coffee table or mantle.
Stimulate your mind by learning a new skill with individualized instruction from paper artist, Rich Gray in this one-day workshop. Students should bring small, sharp-pointed scissors (such as embroidery scissors) and a ruler – all other supplies included in fee.
