An Evening with Poet Maya Angelou was originally scheduled for Thursday, May 2 at Chrysler Hall. Angelou canceled her speaking event due to health reasons. Angelou spent time in the hospital in April and has been recovering in her North Carolina home.

The event has been rescheduled for Friday, June 21. All tickets purchased for the original date will be honored and accepted.
