Leonotis leonurus
This is also sometimes called lion’s tail. Whorls of orange flowers with hairy petals that resemble a tail or ear. Flowers are about 1 1/2″ long. The plant features strong upright stems that are crowned in tiers of flowers. The plant is quite tender but may survive the winter if in a protected place. It grows best in full sun.
